Could You Live on the Minimum Wage?

Can you live on the minimum wage? You can now find out for yourself, thanks to a calculator put together by the New York Times. By plugging in your state, and your current expenses, including housing, utilities, transportation, health care and any loans you are paying off, as well as food, taxes and other expenses, you can see how you would fare working for your state’s hourly minimum wage.
