Childcare providers, parents, and supporters have built a strong movement to fight for the childcare system we deserve. Together over the last few years, we were able to put forward proposals prioritizing affordable, high-quality child care that would raise pay for early childhood educators, paid family leave, extending the child tax credit, protecting our human rights to control our own bodies, and more. Now, we need legislators who will take those proposals over the finish line and overcome those who are preventing action that would help families and providers – especially women of color.
- An equitable system built on racial and gender justice
- Thriving wages for childcare providers
- Affordable child care for all
- A monthly fully expanded child tax credit for all
On October 23rd, childcare voters will be coming together across the country in solidarity to show our elected leaders and communities that we will be making informed decisions about who will best ensure us, our children, and our businesses are prioritized in this election. Child care is the backbone of our economy and democracy.
